(14) Resting

, ,

Dear You,

Today the mask fell away and I confess to not feeling okay. Sometimes it feels impossible to find gratitude in patience and warmth in solitude. I have to remind myself that being alone isn’t a curse to be removed by action or hopeless abandon, and that an army of one gains little ground without fight. Whether you’re okay or not, please keep fighting like me until we meet at the final resting place in each other’s arms.

Love,
Me
